About
the origin of leake…
Leake Engineering is named after Leake Ave in New Orleans, LA, where the New Orleans District of the Army Corps of Engineers is located. This is the birthplace of the firm, forged in the years after Hurricane Katrina in 2007 during the rebuilding of the hurricane protection system around the city and the subsequent development of buildings within the city itself. The company’s founder then moved to the Greater Philadelphia area and continued the company's legacy in the Northeast. The company has become an integral part of the Philadelphia design community and a trusted partner for various national and governmental clients nationwide.
