Senior Structural Engineer
We are currently seeking a Structural Engineer to work on all project phases, including site survey, design, construction documentation, special inspections, and construction administration for building structures. Projects will include new buildings, renovations, commercial, and residential buildings.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Prepare reports, designs, and drawings
Calculate pressures, loads, and stresses and select construction materials
Monitor contractor work and inspect properties
Utilize CAD for simulation purposes
Work closely with clients, architects, engineers, owners, contractors
Design structures with common structural materials (structural steel, concrete, masonry, wood)
Qualifications:
Experience in Residential Structural Engineering
Bachelors degree in Structural, or Architectural Engineering
EIT/FE certificate with 1 year
PE, preferred (must be able to attain P.E. within five years of hire)
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Google Docs and MS Office (Word, Excel)
Knowledge of BIM/REVIT, a plus!
Knowledge of at least one Finite Element Analysis program (Enercalc, STAAD, RAM, RISA, etc.).
Knowledge of IBC, IRC, ASCE-7, AISC, ACI-318, NDS, and ACI-530
Residential Structural Engineer
We are currently seeking a Professional Structural Engineer to provide residential structural inspections, including site survey, design, construction documentation, special inspections, and construction administration for residential building structures. Projects will include new Construction, renovations and residential buildings.

5- 10 years experience in Commercial and Residential Structural Engineering

Intern
We seek well prepared students of top engineering schools to expand their education in structural engineering through the internship program offered at Leake. As an engineering intern in our structural engineering group, you will participate on project teams for structural projects of all types, including commercial and residential buildings.
Qualifications:
A sound technical background, strong communication skills and enthusiasm for the challenges of designing great structures are required.
BS - Civil Engineering or completion of a minimum of 24 hours of engineering coursework towards BS in Civil Engineering
Accepted in or plans to apply for graduate program in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis
EIT preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skill required
Flexible scheduling but should be consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week
