Senior Land Surveyor / Team Lead
We are seeking a Senior Land Surveyor / Team Lead to support a range of land development, infrastructure, and institutional projects. Responsibilities:
Lead and manage surveying projects from field data collection through final deliverables.
Oversee and support survey crews performing boundary, topographic, ALTA, and construction surveys.

Ensure quality control of survey data, plats, and deliverables for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinate with civil, structural, and geotechnical teams to support integrated project delivery.

Mentor junior staff and assist in training on field procedures, equipment, and software.
Operate and troubleshoot survey equipment including Leica robotic total stations, GPS systems, and drones.

Qualifications:
Professional Land Surveyor (PLS), or ability to obtain within 3 months.
5+ years of progressive land surveying experience.
Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and survey data processing workflows.
Hands-on experience with Leica robotic total stations, GPS systems, and field software.
Strong understanding of field operations, boundary analysis, and construction layout.
Experience mentoring or leading junior staff.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to balance field and office responsibilities.
Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in growing a service line is a plus.
Work Environment

CIVIL Engineer
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Civil Engineer to support a wide range of civil engineering projects. This role is ideal for an early-career engineer looking to grow within a consulting environment and gain hands-on experience in design, permitting, field work, and project coordination.
You will work closely with Professional Engineers and Project Managers on commercial, residential, and institutional projects, contributing to both technical design and project delivery. This position offers strong mentorship, increasing responsibility, and exposure to all phases of project development.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and assist in the development of site layout plans, grading plans, ADA ramp designs, stormwater management systems, and utility connection drawings.
Perform civil engineering calculations and assist with the preparation of technical reports and permit applications.
Support zoning research, permitting processes, and coordination with local municipalities and utility providers.
Participate in field investigations, including site inspections, construction observations, and coordination with surveyors.

Project Manager
Leake Engineering, LLC in Philadelphia, PA seeks Project Manager to perform engineering duties in planning, designing, and overseeing construction of residential and commercial building structures and facilities. Duties include: lead a team of engineers in the design and inspection of multi- and single-family residences and commercial and industrial buildings; write proposals for structural engineering projects and interface with clients; design residential structures, including design of foundations, framing, and shear walls, and review others’ designs and calculations; conduct residential and make-safe inspections, writing field notes, photographing the job site, writing reports, and performing calculations; and conduct special structural inspections, including underpinning, concrete, framing, and post installed anchor bolts, involving site visits, taking field notes, photographing, and writing reports. This fully remote role requires residency in the Philadelphia MSA to conduct frequent local onsite inspections and check progress of local projects.
Requirements: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in structural or civil engineering. Two years of residential engineering experience. Experience must include: Enercalc, AutoCad, RAM Structural System, and STAAD software. Must have knowledge of structural inspections of masonry buildings. Must reside in the Philadelphia MSA to conduct frequent local onsite inspections and check progress of local projects. Travel to NY and DE required approx. 15 times per year, 3 days per trip for structural inspection of commercial buildings.
